Two Monks

Two monks on a pligrimage came to the ford of a river. There they saw a girl dressed in all her finery, obviously not knowing what to do since the river was high and she did not want to spoil her clothes. Without more ado, one of the monks took her on his back, carried her across and put her down on dry ground on the other side.

Then the monks continued on their way. But the other monk after an hour started complaining, “Surely it is not right to touch a woman; it is against the commandments to have close contact with women. How could you go against the rules of monks?”

The monk who had carried the girl walked along silently, but finally he remarked, “I set her down by the river an hour ago, why are you still carrying her?”

Risking

Many times in my life, I have been in the situation where I should make a major decision and sometime I afraid of taking risks, and today I heard this story from my fren, this is very worthy to write here.

Story goes like this….

Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile spring soil.

The first seed said, “I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me and thrust my sprouts through the earth’s crust above me……..I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring..I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals!”.
And so she grew.

The second seed said, “I am afraid. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don’t know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts……..What if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is sage.”
And she waited.

A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for ford fund the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

Moral?
I am sure you come to know…..

My office

It was very difficult for me to be familier in the IT Section of Supreme Court of Nepal, while I was new here. It was not due to the other staffs here but due to my unexpressive nature, I feel.
But now, I feel very proud to be a part of IT Section of SC Nepal. We are a small group lead by Mr. Deepak Timilsena, IT Consultant of Supreme Court. He is our boss but he is flexible and not that domineering at nature.
We are three guys Kishan Shrestha, Utsav R. Wagle and me in the software development department. Kishan is the most friendly, didactic and submissive friend, co-worker I have ever encounter. He is very experienced and good programmer, I have learned a lot from him since I am here. Utsav is my another mate, he is web developer so I don’t need to interact with him alot in work but he is also very good web programmer.

Prithvi M. Ghale popularly known as Ghale jee is our Network Administrator. A very cool man, he loves to laugh a lot in lunch hour. He is here after about 10 yrs stay at US so we are albe to know the US lifestyle very much from him. Overall, he is very good friend of mine.

Raajeev is also here in network section but donno about him much coz he dont like to go for lunch with us and u know lunch time is the best time to know each other.

Niren, Madhukar and Raju are other friends who used to work in IT Section, Supreme Court, but not now. Still they are my good friends, they usually come to the cafe at lunch hour from their respective office and we enjoy very much. Its very interesting to argue with Niren, who is currently working at KTV, in lots of topics like Chitwan vs Kathmandu and many others.

All in all, my office has very favourable conditions to work.

Last saturday,

Last saturday was the most hurtful day for me. There was a misunderstanding with one of my good-wisher, I tried to explain the truth but she was not willing to accept that. She still thinks I’ve made a horrible mistake. I am feeling very lonely these days. I’m still unable to recover from that.

Another reason for that gloomy saturday is my fav. England was out of the tournament. It was all due to the Roony’s Anger that they lost the game. Still he is the fav. in my players’ list.

Now my support will be for Portugal, if they also loose the SEMI then France should win the Competition :) .
